1. If you want something to change you have to be prepared to change something
2. Even the people who seem perfect are still worrying that they are getting it wrong
3. There is nothing too big for God to handle
4. Forgiveness can release joy and love but resentment fuels bitterness and only hurts you
5. You can't turn your children into mini versions of yourself (and would you really want to?) so learn to love them as they are. Irritating, annoying habits and all.
6. Don't judge people too quickly. Those you imagine you have nothing in common with can sometimes turn out to be your closest friends.
7. You can find something likeable and praiseworthy about anyone if you really try
8. Look after your teeth and gums
9. A good nights sleep will improve your mood and your ability to cope with the challenges life throws at you.
10. Complaining achieves nothing - identify the problem and do something about it!
11. Keep only what is beautiful, useful or sentimental
12. Eliminate clutter and tackle nagging tasks. Don't postpone any task that can be done in less than five minutes. Don't put off until tomorrow anything you can do today
13. Take time to enjoy the moment and store up a treasure house of happy memories to look back on when you are old
14. Listen more and talk less
15. Don't wait for the house to be clean or tidy before inviting people over. Be spontaneous and allow others to 'take you as you are'
16. If you don't feel happy / patient / kind / forgiving - fake it till you do!
