Viva Espana
Sorry for my absence. We have now returned from our family holiday in Torrevieja Costa Blanca in Spain. It has been a lovely couple of relaxing weeks which we were really ready for. The weather has been gloriously beautiful in the high thirties up to low forties.
It was just wonderful to relax on the sandy beaches and to swim in the lovely warm sea.
Seb and Nat enjoyed building sandcastles and playing bat and ball on the beach.
We also had a fantastic day out driving through the mountains to Guadalest Castle.
We enjoyed a solar powered boat trip on the stunning blue reservoir.
And finally swam in the icy cold waters of the Fonts De L'Algar waterfalls.
Other holiday highlights included a great waterpark.
A day trip to Cartagena.
Cocktails at the Nautilus bar on the beach.
A cliff path walk from La Zenia to Caboroig.
and a visit to Le Jardins de la Naciones park.
We are glad to be home again but sorry to have to return to work.
