Saturday was so hectic I didn’t get chance to write a blog
and to mention all about the fantastic day out we all had at Washbrook
Farm. David and I took our two boys and
little ‘P’ who was still with us, to this Farm for a few hours.
We had never been there before but it was
fantastic as not only were there lots of lovely baby animals to see (including
the most adorable kid goats) but there were loads of toys and play equipment
for the children to enjoy. Even Seb had a good time playing with his brother
and little ‘P’.
It was a really nice sunny and warm day so it was lovely to
enjoy the outdoor play area and a tractor ride around the farm. The younger boys were giggling away to
themselves.
Probably my highlight was a huge inflatable pillow (like a
bouncy castle with no walls) that was in the middle of a huge sandpit. The children (and a few adults) climbed up,
jumped and rolled over the top of it having a great time. I couldn’t resist having a go too and even
David was persuaded to join in the fun.
The boys had such a great time and we took a lovely picnic
lunch with us. Not surprisingly the
younger two were exhausted by the time we left to come home and both fell
asleep in the car on the journey home.
After a little nap and some dinner I took little ‘P’ back
home to his family. It was a real
pleasure having him stay with us and a great success for Nat’s first sleep
over. We will definitely go back to
Washbrook farm again too!
